I am a bit obsessed with raindrops at the moment and I was itching to go outside with my camera after the rain stopped. The little babe had a good run around the yard in her wellies while I was absorbed with the world of tiny raindrops.
Dill, rosemary, and sedums in my front wooden whiskey barrel.
Unidentified bush in the chicken coop - I don't know what it is, but I whack it back every year really hard and it always comes back like crazy.
I am really loving alliums this year. Their shape is so unlike anything else in the garden.
Baptisia australis or blue false indigo.
The irises in bloom.
The humble dandelion.
And the elegant Japanese Maple.
Hope you can find something magical in your day.
I am joining Chrisy at Living A Good North Coast Life for her "Reconnecting With Nature" series. As we bloggers sit around connected to our computers, it is a great way to force us to step outside and maybe notice something new in the natural world or just appreciate something that we see every day. Read more about the Reconnect with Nature - one photograph at a time idea here.
