I am joining Chrisy at Living A Good North Coast Life for her "Reconnecting With Nature" series. As we bloggers sit around connected to our computers, it is a great way to force us to step outside and maybe notice something new in the natural world or just appreciate something that we see every day. Read more about the Reconnect with Nature - one photograph at a time idea here.
When I was out walking with the little babe this week in the warmer temperatures, we saw a lot of bird activity. Lots of sparrows and chickadees working on their nests on our garden shed, a bright burst of red as a cardinal flew by (male and female), two big flocks of Canadian geese (flying Northwest?), and even a flock of seagulls! Seagulls in Pennsylvania - I don't know what that was about! So I thought I would write this post about birds, migration, etc. But I didn't have any pictures and thought it would be pretty boring. Then I realized, hey, even if the rabbit is domesticated, and as domesticated a rabbit as you are going to find, since he'll sit on my sofa, he is still a rabbit and that is nature. My little babe connects with him on a daily basis, more on some days than others as you can see in the pictures below. Disclaimer - no rabbits were harmed in the taking of these pictures. He was free to leave at any time.
Birds, rabbits, little babes - they are all active at this time of year.
