Today's Hump Day Give-A-Way Contest is for the big babes, not the little babes or furry babes. This awesome handpainted wood pendant is from Pipodoll.
The artist behind Pipodoll is Samantha Vanderwyst. Samantha lives in rural Ontario with her two little boys and husband, who is also an artist. They have to be the most creative parents in all of Canada! On her blog, pipodoll.blogspot.com, Samantha has shown pictures of the most amazing toys that they have made for their children. The origami lights that now decorate my little babe's room came from Pipodoll. When I opened the package from Samantha with the pendant in it, this is the little surprise that I found. How cute - totally made me smile!
The wood for this pendant is from fallen trees on their property - no trees were killed in the name of art! It is finished with a water-based gloss medium that carries the AP seal, (Approved Product) as being non-toxic to humans. Samantha handpaints the designs, which are inspired by the forests that surround her. I just love these two whimsical little birds! The pendant hangs from a silky black fabric cord.
To win this wooden pendant and make you the coolest "bird" in town, simply leave a comment below between now and 7am on Friday, February 7th. I will assign a number to each comment and randomly draw a lucky winner. To see more of Samantha's awesome pendants and children's toys, visit Pipodoll's shop on Etsy.
