We made a quick trip to the Arboretum in the middle of the day. Not the best time for taking pictures; the sun is way too bright. I love the Japanese Anemone (pictured above) and the lotus flower - isn't it crazy with that big sturdy seed pod in the middle? The hydrangeas are always amazing there, so many different types. It is a really bad garden year on the home front here. Focusing on the positives, we had a lot of red raspberries, our potatoes are doing well, plenty of basil pesto is in the freezer, and we have a lot of cherry size tomatoes. I'm thankful for the couple of things we do have.
What are you thankful for today?
